About

EatTravelMap is a completely free and open food guide. Anyone can search, read ratings and compare places without signing up or installing an app. The site is funded by ads, which never cover content; rankings and ratings are never for sale.

How ratings work

Scores are Bayesian averages: each place starts from the site-wide average with a weight of 10 votes, so a place with one or two ratings can't jump to the top. Places with fewer than 5 ratings are marked "Not enough ratings".

Privacy

We don't collect names, emails or phone numbers. To prevent vote stuffing we keep only irreversible device and IP hashes. Your saved and compare lists stay in your own browser. Privacy →
